A number of my (mainly MS) apps were damaged by an agent dealing with anti-virus software. Some key Tiles refuse to respond. After reading much of the detailed help on this Forum I downloaded the Troubleshooter and got the Store back (so some progress}. But the damaged apps, such as Outlook, Calendar and People, OneDrive / One Note, and new apps too, will not install. Some have gained their Tiles back but display an X and report that they cannot be installed. The Store reports 'your purchase couldn't be completed'.
The Troubleshooter reports: service registration missing or corrupt; Store configuration may be damaged; display adapter may be out of date (unlikely, it is a new computer). It also reports that the Store cache has been fixed (a bit more progress).
I know there is lots of info on this Forum alone but would welcome some guidance as to what to concentrate on. I am no expert and want to avoid interfering with things I barely understand, if possible.
