Hi,
I have a laptop with Windows 8.1 Pro x64. I have used Mac OS X but made a switch to Windows. When I was using Mac OS X I used "SwitchResX". This application applies a custom resoltion to your display (for example: 1920x1080 on a 1366x786 display) to give the user more real estate. I have been searching for a Windows alternative to this application. The only thing I have been able to find is an application called "PowerStrip". The problem is that this application does not support Windows 8(.1). Is there any known possibility to force a higher resolution on my Windows 8.1 laptop?
Thanks,
Liam
