I really f*** up this time. I have a desktop with a 64GB SSD for my Windows boot drive. I store all other programs on separate drive. I use visual studio and of course it starting eating my space. So I thought I will move my store apps to another drive. Well some where in moving it I cut the files from WindowsApps to another drive with out full permissions so all my files got corrupted. I thought by cleaning out my WindowsApps folder it would just redownload stuff nope now none of my apps work. My question is it possible to copy the WindowsApps folder from another working pc or does it not work that way. Because I have a few working win8 pcs I could use or am I just going to have to reinstall win8

Well first I want to tell you: Never ever mess around with your system unless you have got a backup (system image) at hand to restore your Windows in case desaster strikes.

To resolve your current problem I recommend reinstalling Windows. By copying those files from another PC you would most likely face various permission difficulties which would take hours to fix with no guarantee that you will ever make your system stable again. Seriously, better reinstall everything. It takes less time and the result will be much better.

I tested to today on another win 8 pc by deleting all the files in the WindowsApps folder and redownloaded the apps and it worked but it will not work on my home pc
