Hi folks. Any way to drag the metro apps that show up in the main screen to my secondary screen? THanks.

At this time the Metro start page and Metro applications will only run on one monitor, you may, however, choose which of your monitors to use. Other monitors will display the traditional desktop.

    Hi there
Currently "No way Jose" which rather limits the whole "Usefulness" (or otherwise !!) of the Metro idea on laptops / desktops with multiple / large monitors.

The basic idea of Metro was I think to emulate Tablets or smart phones -- full screen interface via Metro is usually fine for these types of devices.

Not sure how MS will resolve the conflict in the way Laptop / traditional PC users use their machines and those who just want to use W8 on touch screen tablet or smart phone devices.

    Over to you MS.

    Cheers

I would like to know if there is some possiblity to disable the drag ability (drag to close apps, drag to snap them to the side, not the drag/drop of files/folders)? The only thing I found so far are those 2: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell\Switcher...

So far I haven't seen any Windows 8 apps that make sense for a 24-inch monitor. Of course there aren't very many available yet so the question might be better stated as "What Windows 8 apps imagined for tablet or smaller screens would be useful on a 24-inch monitor?" Of course you can run all of...
