specific backup

win 8.1. I want to have the pc to automatically backup a specific folder routinely. file history just backs up all my stuff. I don't want that. a specific folder only, routinely, to an external drive. Im open to using a 3rd party program if needed.

You can play with it.
I just made one on my desktop.
You can leave the usb inserted & use it for the destination.

Or you use Areca which is free and open source. It uses open archives so you can unpack and restore data from backups without a working Areca on your hd if need be.
