When I log into IE, from the Metro Dektop, every thing is in Irish. Very few people in Ireland speak Irish.

I do not & can't log in.

How do I change the language to Ireland-English?

Once in how do I get back to the home page?

That's really surprising -- given the relatively rare usage of Gaelic in modern-day Ireland, that IE would default to that.

If you can get to a desktop, and open IE from there, see if you can do the following:

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the General tab, and then click Languages.

In the Language Preference dialog box, click Add.

In the Add Language dialog box, select a language from the list, and then click OK.

Click OK twice.

IF this works, when you then re-open IT in Metro, it should be able to use the "new" language.
