Word 2013 Missing

Greetings: I just purchased a new computer and added Office 2013 Professional to it. Under the Start>Apps>Office 2013 menu, Word 2013 is missing. The odd thing is, it is listed as part of Office under the C/Programs Files/Microsoft Office/Office 15, and I have shortcuts to it on my Desktop and Taskbar, and they work (IOW, Word 2013 opens right up when I click on them). But unlike Excel, PowerPoint, etc., Word is not there on the Win8 Start/Apps menus, nor is it on the Classic Shell Desktop Start Menu that I added if you go Start>All Programs>Microsoft Office 2013.

How can I fix this? (again, Word 2013 works, it's just missing from the Start/Apps menus)

Thanks for your help!

I've encountered instances were Word is residing in a category of it's own and won't show unless you enable 'More Tiles View' and/or 'Show Administrative Tools'.

Hi CM, sure, in fact, that's how I get to Word right now (actually pinned it to Start and to the Taskbar). But this particular computer will have a number of users and guests at various times, and it's nice to have Word where it's supposed to be under Start>Programs>Office 15 with the rest of the Office Pro+ programs.

I'm also still learning how to navigate in W8, so when a problem arises, solving it helps me learn more about this OS and how it works.

Thanks for your help!

Kindest Regards,
David
