Sounds good to me.
I'll give my self try. :)

Thanks.

Edit: I did try it. It just calls the metro, no chance to scroll the entire apps, need to type the letter on the search box to reach specific apps :(

Sorry. After some research I just realized there are menu option by right clicking the start button. Thanks Julian. :thumb:

Hi Boohbah,

Saw that a while back.

Looks like it just brings up the metro rubbish.

I don't want that if I am in the main UI.

Can't see the point of it at all.

Does it do something useful, that I haven't spotted?

If you really want the "old" Win7 start features, check out the Classic Shell for Win8. In tried all the different Start menu add-ons and have ended up liking this one the best.

Can you expand on that Mr Phelps? *This message will self destruct in 60 seconds*
I just HAD to input that last part :roflmao:

As usual I am late to the party.

Set win8 up on a bench system after reading the forums here for several days. Gave Start8, Win7 Start menu and Classic Shell for 8 a full day of testing each and decided to stick with Classic Shell for now at least.

One a side note; I found that Driver Sweeper is a no-no on Win8 if you are trying to sweep AMD drivers.
