    reinstall to factory specs

Just to be doing something I restored to factory specs to see how Macrium would work.
After getting the OEM 8 installed with my Microsoft Account, I installed my paid version of Macrium Reflect.

I added the boot time Macrium environment & stuck in my latest Macrium image usb.

Even though I HAD THE WIN 8 oem & NOT the 8.1 Propack or had upgraded to 8.1 Pro, the image restored to what I had on the usb.

All the activations activated & everything is good to go.

It was tedious but a new learning experience.

Good to know as I also keep "Virgin" version of W8 as I got it and installed it with MS drivers only. Didn't have need to use it yet instead of 8.1.1 but sits as a backup together with original ISO.
