Windows App Store Down?

I'm having no success either updating or adding new apps from the Windows Apps Store, both on Windows 8.1 and a VM installation of Windows 10. Others are complaining of receiving an 0x80240438 error or "no Internet connection" error. I've tried all of the troubleshooting from various threads here. Any experiences to share?

The store was messed up for me last night. Took forever to open and show anything. I got an error when I tried to look at "My Apps" or install any already purchased Apps. Its fine now though?

Yes, it can easily play Crysis 3!
I've also had already installed Apps fail to work. I had to go to the Store and reinstall them. Everything seems OK now. It was really messed up for a while though.
