I have a Epson XP-405 and it worked well on my first computer, with windows 7.
Now I have a new computer with windows 8.1, i downloaded the newest version of the driver for my printer but by the installation it says "the printer driver software can not be installed".
I have removed the printer driver and then I tryed to install the last version..
Here you can see better what happens..-->

How can I do now to use my printer??

Thanks (..and sorry for my bad english :p )

In that video you posted, I can see that driver has been unzipped somewhere before installation started. You can find where and start installation from there or go to Devices and Printers in Control panel > Install printer and give it that folder where it's unzipped to search for driver. If it's a USB printer, you can also try with it disconnected and connect it after installation has completed and computer rebooted or it may ask you to connect it at some point during installation.
There is also possibility it may find driver on it's own if you let it to search on internet, it may be from MS and only give you basic functions but would work.

Hi, if can't find those unzipped files and if you do not have an archiver like Winzip or Winrar, you can download something like this: Download 7-Zip - MajorGeeks to unpack those files in a place of your choosing and install from there.
