Windows 10 Technical Preview Tips

Okay. Well, one user said not install the TP, and another user basically said what you said to do if I want to try it out on the Windows 10 forums. But, I am finding it too risky. So, I've opted out of doing it. If they do release the free upgrade to 10, is it still going to be a problem for me?

Can always install it in VM, I did that and works but within limits of VM. That way you can get rid of it anytime and there will be no influence to host system.

Yep, I also think installing it in a virtual machine is the way to go. I would never install a TP directly on my hard drive, the risk that it messes something up is to high. What's more it's a waste of disk space in my opinion. Since MS wont offer an upgrade possibility from the TP to the final version you will have to install from scratch as soon as the final version is released. Better to stick with your current Windows version, install the TP in a virtual machine to play with and MS finally releases W10 you can update your current installation of Windows.
