Windows 8.1 auto updated recently and now find that two banners keep popping up when going into Outlook which are annoying and we need to disable them, anyone out there can advise us how to do this if it's possible.

Hi all

These are the banners that pop up

"Get Outlook.com on your mobile phone. Available on Windows Phone, iPhone, Android and more."

"Your emails are being forwarded to another email address. To stop forwarding your emails, go to Options."

"Connect Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn and keep all your contacts information automatically in sync"

It's annoying that these keep popping up. We know that our e.mails are forwarded as we keep back up copies at a different address the other options we are not interested in so do not need them to pop up every time we go into Outlook, any ideas how to stop the pop up's.

Cheers

I've never heard of this, and it honestly sounds like malware. Give your computer a good malware scan. If you don't have a good program, try malwarebytes (.org) free.

It might be some installed program on your computer, or some setting which I don't know about. good places to start looking.
