I have had 'unchecky' installed for a few months.
I installed 'Hostsman' and added five URLs today so that I can stop 'opencandy' (unless they have changed recently) from installing. The urls are:
www.tracking.opencandy.com.s3.amazonaws.com
www.media.opencandy.com
www.cdn.opencandy.com
www.tracking.opencandy.com
www.api.opencandy.com
I was checking 'Winpatrol plus' and it's 'view host file' there is mention that 'Unchecky' has included the urls that I had added to 'Hostsman'.
Do I still need to have 'Hostsman' installed as 'Unchecky' will block 'Opencandy' or am I reading it wrong?
Do these programs do completely different things?
I also read that a firewall can block 'Opencandy'. Is this true?
Thanks
