Installing 64-Bit Asus AiSuite 3 on Windows 8.1

Has anyone had any success installing Asus Suite 3 V.10082 64-bit? I just built a new Asus Z97-Deluxe PC running windows 8.1 64-Bit and have tried multiple time installing Asus Aisuite 3, but each time I install it will install into the program files(x86) folder and runs in 32-Bit. Tried Asus support which turned out to be a waste of time.

Same with my Asus Gryphon Z87 motherboard. I never gave it a second thought. The only component I install is the Thermal Radar fan control, and it works perfectly and causes no side effects, i.e. no memory leaks, no excessive CPU usage, no interference with sleep, etc. Do you have evidence that it is supposed to install 64 bit programs?

Asus technical support says it will run in 64 bit and the Asus drivers support webpage under the drivers description says:
    ASUS AI Suite 3 V1.00.82 Install Program for Windows 7/8/8.1 32bit & 64bit.

Same for my Asus Gryphon Z87 motherboard. My take on it is that it is 32 bit software that runs fine on 64 bit Windows as most 32 bit software does.
