As seen before with previous versions of Windows, and window animations, I'm guessing that the new behaviour of displaying a full screen icon for each loading metro app is unnecessary. I say this because it means starting an instance of Metro IE10 takes a few seconds when on a SSD equipped PC it should considerably less.
Soooo..... anyone know how to stop this behaviour? I like having a snappy PC, even with infrequently used stuff.
