    Cannot Install App

    Hi all,

I've been trying to purchase and install the Plex app from the Windows App sore, and I keep getting the following error:

    "Purchase error

Sorry, this app can't be installed because your PC might not meet some of the requirements. Go to the app's description page to check for any requirements listed under details"

My laptop is fully updated, and running an i5 processor with good specs (£1000 ultrabook so expected!)

Any ideas how to get around this?

Press 'Window' button + 'R' from the desktop, type wsreset.exe and hit enter. It'll erase Microsoft Store Cache and start windows store from scratch.

Please revert if the problem still persists!!

Thx for the suggestion, but I've tried that already and unfortunately it didn't help!

Do you meet the minimum requirements as outlined in the Details tab of the app you are trying to purchase?

Yeah, and I've confirmed with Plex themselves. Nothing specific needed...

Perhaps downloading from Plex directly a better option.

Ah, now there's some confusion... The media server and the home theatre programs work fine, but I actually want the windows app which is different and apparently works a lot better on windows 8 than the native windows ones.

Hi, I am trying to install the W8 CP using the tutorial provided on W7F. Instead of the install.wim file, install.esd is present. I attempted to use imagex on that file, but it did not work. Is there another way to install it fast?
