hi

is there a registry teak to close quickly windows 8.1 apps?

i mean i can use f4+Alt

but i mean the timing when i close an app clicking with the mouse ,draging it down and wait (3 seconds i guess)
is there a tweak to reduce the 3 seconds? for example to 1

thanks

The WinAero software is quite kosher, but if you want to tweak the registry yourself and are comfortable doing so:

thanks Edwin !
did you record the video?

Hello drugo,

If you like, here are some different ways to close modern apps to pick from. :)

Hallo Brink
clicking on the x on the up right corner does not shut down (close) the app

thanks

Nope, that option only suspends the app. There are others in the tutorial that will completely close an app though. :)

It seems, on my machine anyway, the only way to 'shutdown' the Store is to End the Task in Task Manager. If you open the Store again it will return to suspended state no matter which way you close it.
This also seems to be the case for apps that you have set as default.
