Cannot open certain programmes!

Ive tried opening a few programmes on my laptop like my computer to see your document list and Ive tried a few others but all my laptop seems to be doing is refreshing the desktop screen it flashes red and then nothing happens, nothing opens at all, can someone tell me whats up? or has it happened to you before? thanks.

What are the specific applications you are trying to open?

Your Windows System Files might be corrupted. Try:

1. Win+X ->Command Prompt(Admin)
2. Type: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
3. Then Type: scf /scannow <==== Might need to run multiple times until you get no integrity violation message
