Solved OS calculator size?

Click it and same opens to full screen with only minimize to toolbar as an option in the upper right. There's no (apparent) ability to get a size smaller than entire screen and larger than minimized (0 size).

Effectively there's no way to get this thing to share the screen with another program which is necessary for the use of the calculator in conjunction with another program.

Hello Mark,

If you like, you can snap the modern Calculator app to share the screen with it.
You might also see if running the desktop "C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe" may work better though.

The snap thing will assuredly, totally not work with my wife ;-)

I tried the *calc.exe idea with limited success.

typing the full path in run resulted in an error.

I found the calc.exe files using 'Everywhere' since I absolutely cannot find the 'old' Win7 View on the Win8 explorer to change settings to allow for the display of hidden files, etc. I've attached a screen shot of the two calc.exe files I found and sent each to the desktop as a shortcut and neither shortcut worked once clicked. Although the result of typing simply calc.exe in run does bring forth the legacy calculator, but not a shortcut.

When you open calc from the Run dialog, you could "Pin to Taskbar" or "Pin to Start" if you like to make it easier to use when you like.

I might have misunderstood something but the Windows Calculator desktop app is not even close to fill the screen, not even on smaller displays when scientific or programming views are selected:

Mark was originally using the modern Calculator app. I only pointed him to check out the other desktop calculator (calc.exe) instead.

As I suspected, I had misunderstood. Nothing new there .

Never thought of right clicking on the result of the 'run'--worked great.
