I want a software (freeware or trialware) that can convert an NTSC 1920x1080 output into PAL 1920x1080 and vice versa. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Never came across that myself. But try this tool list:
Video software and downloads

also ask in the forums there. There are forums for just about every video and audio related activity.

Hi there.

Just an afterthought

VLC will play EITHER format - and most computers and TV's will also play either format.

If it's a DVD you want to play rip it to ISO etc with AnyDVD or similar which will also de-regionalize the DVD and then it will play on your computer without any problems at all. HDMI out into TV same again - no problems -the video is already suitable for the TV. Apart from the DVD ripping mechanism no extra software is required to watch the video.

Cheers

This seems weird because on all the forums I've been on concerning HD and BluRay they claimed HD was in effect NTSC to higher resolution. This is the first I've heard of "PAL HD." But maybe they mean BluRay standard as in VC1 or whatever it is.
