Black title bar in Modern apps when using a mouse ?

I just updated my laptop the other day and I found a black bar appearing on the top of Apps. It's an unwelcome animation. I want to get rid of it after App has finished starting up because it doesn't do anything.
Not only does it not do anything, every time I try to change tabs in a web browser (chrome) I keep hitting the bar bar and it ruins my browsing experience.
I can understand the black bar appearing when an App starts but looks stupid when it doesn't do anything new and interferes with the user experience.
Is there some way to disable it for the likes of apps that use tab browsing as I like to use a mouse to go to the top of the screen to select another tab and not worry about a pop up advertisement type black bar.

Hi there. I'm not in agreement with this bar addition either. I don't use Chrome, but this problem has been reported by other users as well. I have seen no resolution to the problem yet. It's either going to take a Registry hack, MS to give option to turn off, or Google to fix Chrome.

Thanks for the response. I really hope something comes up because it is so annoying. I tried Chrome out on the desktop but its not the same as Windows 8 mode . Some kind of Registry hack option to disable it would be really appreciated.

How to disable/fix black title bar in Modern apps?

I would like to disable the black title bar in Windows 8 mode when using Chrome because it ruins my browsing experience. I don't mind if takes up screen space permanently but it wastes my time having to move the mouse off it when I hit the top of the screen.

Is there any solution to disable the annoying drop down black bar when using chrome. There are no options available for the user to disable it but maybe something in the registry could be changed ?
