HOW TO unistall a program installed in compatibility mode

    Hello gurus,

In windows 8.1, I installed the Lenovo Power Manager which is not yet available for this system, and I did it running it in compatibility mode, as described in the next link

Lenovo forums : Lenovo Power Manager in Windows 8 - Page 3 - Lenovo Community

and it got installed correctly, and seemed to work asking for a reboot that I did

the problem: I run into a BSOD and I believe it is due to this software (safe mode works ok)

so, as I try to unistall, and the uninstaller is called from "ADD or REMOVE PROGRAMS", all I get is again the message: "Warning : Cannot run on this system"

And of course, here there is not compatibility mode wizard ..

how can I complete uninstall and clear this piece of shitware ?

    thanks in advance !!

    Hello InTheater,

Check in the "Program Files" folder for this program to see if there may be an uninstall.exe type file. If so, see if running it in compatibility mode may be able to uninstall it.

If not, then you might see if the free program Revo Uninstaller may be able to.

thanks a lot, even I haven't need, as the problem wasn't this program itself, but the conjunction with a laptop feature

also, this can be a solution
