Play DRM Protected Files in Media Programs

I have been trying different media center programs to see if they will play my protected DRM files downloaded from amazon instant video. I have not had any success so far except when playing the files in Windows Media Player.

I did a little research on google and found a couple of sources:

• An update for Windows Media Digital Rights Management-enabled players is available
• Download Update for DRM-enabled Media Players (KB891122) from Official Microsoft Download Center
• Cannot update Windows Media Player DRM Security Update - Microsoft Community

I'm not sure if these links are related to the problem. Anyone have any thoughts on my issue?

Normally "De-Drm'ing" might be against the Forum rules but as you want to WATCH your OWN Video and not pirate it here goes

I HATE all this DRM stuff which a) stops you backing up stuff and b) stops you using it on any of your devices - I travel a lot so I like having some video on a phone / iPad/tablet.

Program above is not free but there is a trial period so you can see if it does what you want.

Thanks for the reply.

I took a look at the program. It says that it retains 100% of the quality. Is this only in the full version or the trial?
I evaluated the trial and I could clearly see that the output was not 100% quality.
Does anyone have the full version and know if this only applies to the full version?
