Metro apps don't working

Hello, I just finished to install Windows 8, but I have a problem, when I want to run a Metro App as Music or Videos, the icon of the application appears a few seconds on fullscreen, and it closes. I read that it was because of the resolution of the computer, that metro apps requires at least 1024*700 to work, but my computer is on 1600*900, and I tried 1024*768 and 1366*768 and it didn't work, so I don't know what to do.
Thanks for your help ! (and sorry for my English )

I've only ever had one app crash on me. It worked again after re-opening it. Since then, no problems.

It sounds like you're running a notebook, there's a couple of things you need to do. first check the Device Manager to make sure all the drivers are setup properly, if not you will have to install the drivers that came with your notebook or later Windows 7 ones. After that check your device manager again to make sure every thing is okay. If it is and you still cant get the right resolution, go to google and type in "Windows 8 on netbook" you should come across instructions to change your registry settings, if you feel comfortable doing that go ahead and do it.
I could tell you how to do it but I don't want to be responsible if something goes wrong.

Ok, thank you, I checked the Device Manager and everything looks okay. But I don't understand what you mean when you say "the right resolution". What's the right resolution? 1600*900 doesn't work? Because I haven't any problems to change my netbook's resolution.

Sorry I read your comment wrong as to the resolution, the resolution you're running is high enough, and if your device manager is reading okay, have a look and see if there any updates ready to install in the settings updates. If all the updates are fine, try updating your video drivers in device manager.

Ok thanks I'm going to check that.

Edit: I have 4 updates concerning Windows 8 to do, this might be the reason of the problem.

Then the problem is probably on Net Framework 4.5 beta. Is integrated in the Windows 8 Consumer Preview and you need it for launching Metro apps.
Try to fix it running SFC /SCANNOW
