LOL! I didn't notice that he's opening a OneDrive folder tile, not the app tile. His app tile is still named Skydrive, which I didn't see either. Typical me > Typical man.

So does the update create a OneDrive folder tile then?

I have the OneDrive app but I do not yet have a OneDrive folder. I can only assume it would have been created when I attempted to add some files.

The general consensus was that the OneDrive app would not be available on Win 8.1 proper so the big question is: "How did David get that OneDrive app and folder before the official Win 8.1.1 update if he did not apply the leaked updates?"

LOL! There sure is confusion. Let's slow down!

David's app tile is still named SkyDrive. His Folder tile is named OneDrive.

Edwin, however has both OneDrive folder and app tile.

I have the add to "Pin to Start" shortcut in my right click drop down context menu, so the easiest way I see to make a tile is from that menu.

I do feel sorta I'll so I better get back into my Hover-Round and scoot to the drugstore before church. Anyway, I was sure I saw a OneDrive app on David's initial start screen and it had a big red arrow pointing to it. Anyway, this is my last response here because I can be of no further use... not that I was of any use in the first place mind you. Now, off I go and cheers to all!

MS should really dial back on trying to push their Cloud Drive !

I've been using Skydrive for a while on my PC and iPad and and like it but I don't see why hey have to include it on their start screen and make it appear like a regular drive thus creating confusion with their mainstream users.

I have come to the conclusion Microsoft will make the App work on or about April 8.

    We shall see.
