According to the press release, skydrive will show up just like any other app. Cool! After installing Windows 8, I setup a windows ID account and test it out by using the Metro Skydrive app to upload a file. I then try to save a file to skydrive from wordpad, I couldn't find the skydive.

Come to think of it, I can't figure out how to get the Metro app to work either I can add file, but can't move and delete files.

you would have to save the wordpad file then transfer it with the app to a folder you have already created on your skydrive...

According to the windows 8 official blog video, I should be able to select skydrive as if it's a volume. This does not appear to be the case. The Metro app appears to only allow me to add files. In fact, the best way to manipulate skydrive is to use the old school skydrive live web site.

Ah, that makes sense.

Is the metro app incomplete? The only option I can find is to add. I can't seemed to do anything with it beyond adding a file.

Maybe in the real Beta (this one is only a CP) we will see it working.

I had the same question. I've been looking all over for SkyDrive. I thought it was supposed to be in the Consumer Preview...
