Hello Juancho, 
Yeah, the OneDrive (new name for SkyDrive) notification area icon only opens OneDrive, and lets you see it's status. It's not like the old SkyDrive Desktop app.
What settings were you want to set for OneDrive? Usually, you'll need to do so in OneDrive.
