    Screenshot program for FORUMS

This desktop app makes posting screenshots easy.
    It is free.
There is a paid version too.
    The free one works good.

Postimage.org - free image hosting / image upload

To quickly make a screenshot, press the Print Screen key.
Then click on Postimage, which you have pinned to the Taskbar, & choose "From Clipboard".

When you finish editing it click on Upload:

    This will appear.
    Click on Copy:

You may get an error message saying the jpg has the wrong file extension.
Just change the .png to .jpg:

I hope you find this tutorial useful.

    That's all for now.

    Best regards,

    Dave
Tutorials were what my old website was all about.
That's where I learned a bit about writing HTML.

I'm glad you like this one.
It should help some in posting pictures.

    Postimage settings

    Here are the settings:

Changing the default format from .png to .jpg did the trick.
    No more error messages.

I hope this extension to the above tutorial helps.

Well a simpler way would be to print the screen using the print screen button and paste it into ms paint and save it and then attach it to any mail.

    I'm not talking about email.

I'm talking about posting images in this Forum.

I think I would have to agree with sri2000. Much easier. You edit and save, exactly the same as your link, and then "Insert Image" done.

In Vista and SevenForums, there is a "paper clicp " icon I can use to post screenshot. In Win 8 forums here, I was using " Insert image " option and apparently the screenshot posted was " broken ". So how do I post the image. I prefer not to use " link ". Thank you. t-4-2
