Just trying to free up some space.. I assume this is like a windows apps recycling bin, but I can't figure out how to empty it...
Mornin' ectech:
I think he was talkin about this folder; I've never seen anything in mine no matter what I try to delete, uninstall, etc.
You can however delete any folders from apps in the windowsapps folder to free up more space.
You can however delete any folders from apps in the windowsapps folder to free up more space.
But you should follow ectech earlier link and use DISM to remove apps - something like this
dism /image:%mount% /Remove-ProvisionedAppxPackage /PackageName:Microsoft.BingFinance_1.2.0.135_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe
There is about 2G of stuff in that folder, all apps that were already 'uninstalled'..
Not sure why there is ANYTHING in the 'deleted' folder.. Why is there even a 'deleted' folder? If stuff lands there, apparently it is not deleted at all..
