    If you are using X as your o/s drive letter (instead of the usual C ) , Macrium thinks it is running in windows pe - very strange but there you go.

    As you know, PE uses X as the default letter - nevertheless, it is an odd way for macrium to determine where it thinks it is.

    Thank you Gentlemen for coming to a consensus and better results than on previous tests. PHeww. Just system imaged with Macrium yesterday. Haven't desired to run a restore to find out. Maybe I should. I know the Windows Seven Backup lets you create a disk that is to be called Windows 8 Consumer Preview and the actions are different than the WinPE startup actions.

    Ah yes I wondered if it had anything to do with the PE but thought just the PE might be confused. Indeed it is an odd way to determine if the PE is running.

    • IMPORTANT: ReDeploy Device Database Improvements
      Users of the Pro and Server Editions of software who make use of ReDeploy are advised to create new rescue media
      This is due to enhancements and additions to the ReDeploy device database
    • Splash Screen
      The Splash screen was momentarily shown during scheduled task startup. This has been resolved.
    • ReDeploy and RAID Systems
      A ReDeploy issue was reported where certain RAID Controllers would not be correctly catered for. This has been resolved.
    • Delete XML Definition Files
      If the XML View tab was selected and an XML file was deleted from the list then a 'Page cannot be found' error was displayed. This has been resolved
    • Email Logs
      When emailing logs using the right click menu option on the Logs tab, users were unable to enter paragraphs into the email body text. This has been resolved
