I noticed "Visual Studios 2012" in my programs, and it says it's by AVG Technologies and I no longer have avg on my computer, can I uninstall these or are these needed?

AVG along with several other Anti-Virus products require Visual C++ Runtime Libraries as part of the installation. These Runtime Libraries are actually created and distributed by Microsoft. They are necessary files in order run AVG which is why they are installed. If you have removed AVG they are no longer required.

However, in my experience uninstalling them can affect .NET Framework so I would say keep them installed. To make sure you have the latest version run Windows Update.
