    Step 1) Download attached file.
Step 2) Extract contents to Desktop.
Step 3) Right Click SubinACL.bat , Select Run as Administrator == This will create StorePerms.txt on the Desktop.
    Step 4) Right Click
StoreDiag.bat , Select Run as Administrator == This will create StoreDiag.txt on the Desktop.
Step 5) Attach files to next post..

**Note: StoreDiag.bat is set to restart your computer after 30 seconds. Save your work, Close all programs.**

This is a start, I still have more to add.

Did you change it?? Because it's works fine over here.

SubinACL.exe & the bat file need to be in the same directory. (Desktop)

    Never removed it from Store.

    Nothing unusual in Credentials Manager.

I ran it once & it blinked out of existence.
Both files were on the Desktop.

I added a pause at the end of it next & ran it again.
I'll change it back & try it again.

Attached is the txt file from the other file:

    StoreDiag.txt

StoreDiag log shows permission issues. So, something is blocking parts of the fix.

Do you use WinPatrol or something similar?

You could also run the commands yourself.

    Code:
    subinacl.exe /outputlog=%userprofile%\Desktop\Storeperms.txt /keyreg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\Repository\Packages" /display

    subinacl.exe /outputlog=%userprofile%\Desktop\Storeperms.txt /keyreg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\Repository\Packages" /display

Windows FAX broken in 8.1 in Software and Apps
Still broken. FAX send will hang/redial. Didn't work in 8.1PV - may have functioned in 8. The problem is FXST30.dll. Replacing it with the Windows 7 copy resolves it. This may require taking ownership. Someone here with Microsoft's ear might pass that along to the higher echelon.
