Help with ViaCAD and external monitor

I have a lenovo laptop with 8.1 and a external monitor. When I run ViaCAD I can drag the program to the monitor then the toolbar. Once I close it and reopen it from the monitor the programs opens on the laptop instead. So I have to drag everything over each time I open the program. I've contacted ViaCAD and they just said they don't support dual monitors. Are there any options for me?
