Problems with official Facebook app in Windows 8.1 (RT)

I say Windows RT but it's the Metro app and any version of Windows 8.1 can run the Metro app. I was wondering if anyone was experiencing these same problems.

Many times, I tap on "comment" but it won't do anything or open the comment window. I have
to "refresh" by clicking one of my groups (thereby changing the screen) and then go back to where
I was before and then it will let me click on "comment" and work.

Many times when I am using the on screen keyboard, once I am done typing and the keyboard closes,
the space at the bottom of the screen stays black and Facebook remains "up in the air". I have to grab
and drag down the window to get the Facebook app down where it belongs.

Many times where it tells you in the upper right corner how many new notifications you have, typically it is red with the number of notifications. Sometimes it is just greyed out and sometimes it just has the number of new notifications with the number in white but with the globe still faded out.

    Hey mate,

You got the free app by facebook, right? Uninstall it and install it again. From what I can tell, I've not heard a complaint similar to your own. Most complaints are about crashing or log-off problems.

I already thought about doing that..I'll give it a whirl.

Could be video card drivers as well. Seeing how it's Windows RT I don't have a lot of
    video driver options unfortunately.

Didn't help. All the same issues. Could very well be video driver issues although I don't have these same sort of problems with other apps on my Asus Vivotab RT.

I just picked up a Dell Venue 8 Pro. Using the same Facebook Metro app (the official Facebook app) I am encountering the same issues I described in my original post. So, it wasn't just a Windows RT problem.

In that case, you may want to contact the developer of the app. Afraid there is little I can do if the problem lies only with the app.
