Solved silverlight plug in has crashed

trying to set up my sky go on windows 8.1 pro
i have downloaded the silverlight as they requested
then i keep getting silverlight plug in has crashed..

can sky go be set up on windows 8?
what do i need to stop it from crashing?

Have you tried uninstalling it in "Programmes"...then reinstalling it.?
Do you use Ccleaner?.....if so click on "Applications" tab...scroll down to Multimedia...under that untick Microsoft Silverlight.
Hope that helps.

From experience, I found that Silverlight does not 'like' the Firefox browser. It should work OK in Internet Explorer.
