iPod App to act as wireless kbd/mouse for my desktop

    Dear All,

I am looking for an iPod App to control my desktop as a wireless keyboard/ mouse.

Please note that I do NOT have WiFi in my desktop, it's connected to internet via lan cable.

The iPod has WiFi though, so basically the app should allow me to connect to the desktop by entering it's IP address.

    Thanks,
    Tanmoy.

    Hi,

I tried two "wireless" control surface apps for my recording studio program with my iPad. Both ran wi-fi to my router and then connected via the wired router connection to the PC. Both worked, but not very well. I gave up on the idea.

@archer>> Thanks for your suggestion. HippoRemote performed very well with my Laptop which has WiFi connection but sadly I failed to connect my desktop by providing the IP address (may be because it got no WiFi)

If I may suggest, why dont you buy a WiFi dongle.

USB WiFi Adapter Desktop | eBay

    They are cheap as well.
