    Tully,

You might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before you had this issue may be able to help.

    All:

    Weird!!

An update was downloaded & the WinBeta program showed up in the available programs to load.

I clicked on the tile & uninstalled it!

    It IS GONE!!

    I don't understand what went on & I don't care!

On the 14th of this month I will be 85!

What I want is a simple answer. Failing that, an answer that is not too complicated. In my line of work, I am continually installing and reinstalling Windows and, on top, client-specified applications. Ever since I went over to Windows x64; first, version 7; then 8, now 8.1, I have had recurring...
Hi, I recently installed a new ssd and did a fresh install of windows 8.1 on it. I am now using my old hdd as my main data drive in my laptop caddy. My problem is I did not back up my data on my hdd and format it. So I need to delete the "windows" , "program files" and "program files (x86) "...
