Can't add a different account to the Store in Windows 8

Can't "Sign In" to the Store.

I have had this new computer for a couple of weeks and have not been able to install anything in the Windows store. I get the message that so many others have: Your purchase could not be completed----. I believe I have tried every fix viewed on this board and elsewhere. The one thing I have not been able to try is to sign into the Store with a different account. While in the Store I click on Settings, then on My Account. Sign In appears. When I click on it, it appears to respond then nothing happens. I have reset my Microsoft Account, ran the App Troubleshooter, reset the app (WSRESET.EXE), ran the Windows Update troubleshooter, and many other suggested fixes. Maybe if I could sign into the Store and add a different account, that would fix it. Thanks for any help.
