What i would like to see improved in Windows 8, 9 or 10

    hi guys,

what bothers me in Windows XX is:

one cannot set the OS to his hand. I mean, there are several features somebody wishes to change, but sometimes this is not simple.

It would be nice if MS would offer in the OS hardware:

    - the OS on a USB stick, instead of a DVD

    In the software:

    - the possibility to change values in order to get the speed one wants in the OS (Prefetch, superfetch, indexing, etc you get the idea.
    - Also in Excel one should have options to change values Example: i want to change the Paste Special options from *all to *values permantly for every Paste Special.

So offering the possibility to change maybe 100 values (this is an example) in Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, OS
    would be very nice.

Above all SPEED should Always be there, not like Vista....

Just a thought. one could install the OS, get a screen with options to personalize, the same in Office. Whow that would give a kick. You could set the OS just as you want it. It would not cost more then 15 minutes.....
or am i asking too much??????

I don't know quite honestly. One on hand, there is a new interface, the Start Screen; on the other, Windows 7 minus the Start button. There have been a few screenshot leaks of a post-Consumer Preview build, and from what I gather, nothing is being improved to the Desktop to make it STAND OUT as...
Have the infamous Intel 915GM chipset on my old Tablet PC, and was disheartened to learn that the previously-working XP video drivers simply would not work anymore. However, looking closer at the "new" Basic theme, I noticed that the windows actually do have some transparency. So, while it's...
hi, I've recently started developing using Ruby on Rails on my Windows 7 machine and noticed that it's painfully slow when performing certain tasks. In doing some searching, I realized that rails performance on Windows is bad across the board. As a result of this, I had to switch over to a...
