Help please - or have I been Swindled - Partition Wizard 8

    Hi there
I'm trying to make a BOOTABLE USB with Minitool's Partition wizard 8.1 -- it refers to the CREATE BOOTABLE MEDIA option on the menu (PRO edition 8,1) but I can't see this anywhere --all I have is an icon to the BOOTABLE CD and then if you click that it just points to the web site where you have to download an ISO - absolutely NOTHING about Creating bootable media.

If anybody has found the create bootable media option please post where you started it from !!!!.

Otherwise I'd recommend people NOT to get the PRO version -- you might just as well stick with the freebie.

Anyway enc screenshot from their website and from my 8.1 version.

    Cheers

I'm not a PW expert. But it sounds like the function could be on the bootable version. If that's true, unless there are other reasons to have the paid version, you may want to ask for a refund. The iso version is free.

I don't think it's a swindle. Probably just lousy UI design.

I bought the Pro version just to find an answer to your dilema.

The bootable usb option is in the PE folder.

    Hope this helps.

Well, I suppose you have a reason for not posting back saying whether the information I provided was helpful or not.

A response would be helpful to others with the same issue.

To me, being of help to others is the reason I belong to this forum.

This is my last post in this thread if no response is forthcoming.

    Hi there.

Thanks for your reply - however I don't get any PE folder !!!.

I always try and give feedback - remember also a lot of us travel quite frequently - especially at this time of year where a lot of stuff needs to get done BEFORE Year end so one can't always post back immediately. Also if I don't get the solution you've got when I'm looking at my screen I need to look and see if I can find out why not. I think a lot of Forum members here do realize that I always where possible try and give feedback.

However I don't get any PE folder -- where is this to be found ???

Here's my stuff - screenshot enc

    Cheers

    Thank you kindly for responding.

It's not in the program itself.

It is another program located in the zip folder included in the original zip folder.

    EDIT---
When you buy the Pro version the bootable media program is bundled along with it.
Otherwise you would have to purchase it separately.

From what I can see from the web site, there is no support for Windows 8.1.

Free partition magic alternative, partition manager and partition software for both 32/64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Free for home users.

supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. And MiniTool Partition Wizard Professional Edition could be used in business environment.
The only 3rd party ,Backup software, partitioning which fully supports Windows 8/8.1, uEFI, GPT & Secure Boot.
    Which is signed by Microsoft.

That I know of at this time is
    Paragon 14, Out November 2013.
