Issues with store apps only - on new user accounts

    Hi there

Looking for a bit of help if anyone can. Iím having issues when creating new user accounts in windows. Iíve got one local account and one live account (default admin) which work all ok, however if I try to create a new users (both local and live) none of the store-apps will work. All the apps have a little cross in the bottom right hand corner of the tile and it says ďThere is a problem with this app Ė There is a problem with xxxx Ė contact an administrator about repairing or reinstalling itĒ

Iíve tried removing and reinstalling store apps to no avail, still both work on the good two accounts but not on the new ones. Iíve been browsing these forums and Iíve tried to fix store corruption with the sfc/scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth again to no avail Ė there was a corruption that was fixed but hasnít solved the issue.

Havenít yet tried a restore but wanted to see if there was anything else worth doing before I go wiping all my apps etc. I'm running windows 8.1 issue was present before upgrading to 8.1 from 8 though.

    Thanks!

    Hi Brink

Thanks for the quick reply, even if it's taken me a few days to sit down and try it!

Ran the app troubleshooter and was receiving a graphics driver may possibly be out of date (Radeon), so I've run the HP util to reinstall and update my drivers..BSODing now and the dump file reckons it's BTHusb.sys causing the issue, I've disabled Bluetooth services on boot and rebooted but still crashing for it. Given up and tried to do a system restore and that failed with a database corruption of some sort..so I've hit F11 at boot and tried to do a Refresh, but when I select the C it says "The drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again." Is it possible to recover the same drive you're booting from? If not, this is a laptop that came with OEM windows, can I download the official windows 8 image and repair from it?

    Cheers for your help
