    Windows 8.0 Store


    hello
    recently windows store on my windows 8.0 stopped working, when i try to browse it or any other metro app they doesn't work and the message on screen is:PC isn't connected to the internet..

    i used the apps.diagcab solution but no way to go, it runs if i run Fiddler2
    how to set a default status without loosing anything?

    i followed up the tutorial but doesn't engage the connection, the message is now changed "connection timeout.."

    Do you have a 3rd party AV or firewall program installed that may be blocking it's internet connection?

    Comodo Internet Security Premium (free) .. but it was installed before the issue and store worked fine on it

    As a test, you might temporarily disable it to see if the Store has internet connection afterwards to see if it was being blocked by Comodo.

Basically got to see this in our local best buy tonight. 25419 windowsstore/bestbuy/prod_windowsStore_Web.png That was pretty accurate too in terms of how busy it seemed.
I have a 2 tb Network store on a 1 gig Ethernet, which worked fine on Windows 7. I ran the upgrade advisor this facility and software was not identified as a potential problem. However it does NOT WORK. It just says it is incompatible on Windows 8. The Novostore website is not helpful.
Can we buy apps or games from the Windows 8 Store yet, or do we have to wait for October 26?
