I have Windows 8.1 PRO. I have an Excel spreadsheet in SkyDrive. I can open the spreadsheet on my Windows phone and I can open it if I use a browser to access SkyDrive, but if I use the SkyDrive app tile I get an error that Windows doesn't know how to open Excel files.
It's really confusing because there is a SkyDrive desktop app and SkyDrive Webapps and a SkyDrive Metro app.
So, you can't open Office documents using the SkyDrive app?
