Hi, Thank you for your interest...

I changed it by selecting a picture and then right clicking the image to bring up the toolbar then clicked set as app background. I was just experimenting and never intended to permanently change the background image...but once it was done I found there was no obvious way back.

You have helped me a number of times in the past...I do hope you can do so again.

    Thanks

    Uninstall Photos.
Go to Windows store & reinstall it.
I just tested it & it works.

I found the original .jpg in my C:\ drive.

You can replace it like you changed it to start with.

I used *.jpg in the search box.
I sifted through over 3500 pictures to find it.

Thanks for both methods...I have done both of them and got the same results as you...though I only had to sift through 2812 pictures...twice, as I missed it the first time and would you believe it was the third icon in the list

Thanks once again for your help...thumbs up left....
