Erm, I do believe that there is a native "Extend" option in personalization, that will extend your wallpaper and taskbar across multiple monitors. You should check that out.

Erm, Avalon, do you really think I'm that clueless?

Avalon, Win8 8102 certainly has multiple monitor taskbar support but with Display Fusion, I get both:

Display Fusion on a secondary monitor:

If I slide upwards off the Display Fusion Taskbar, it slides down and reveals the native Win8 8102 multiple monitor Task bar (not nearly as utilitarian):

(I have my taskbars set to auto-hide)

As to the ability to extend wallpaper across multiple monitors, that, too, is included in Win8 8102 but Display Fusion does a much better job.

Thank you for the replies :) Display fusion looks quite good but I like Ultramon and as I have paid for it I would prefer to use it, as for wallpapers I already have a program that is very good and also works on 8; John’s Background Switcher « John's Adventures

I didn't mean to make you sound like an idiot, it just seemed like you didn't know about it...
Perhaps we will just have to wait for them to modify and upgrade it.

It doesn't give me the full functionality that I wanted but at least Ultramon runs:)

Thanks for the update! :)

How do you like it?

Do you get both multi-monitor Taskbars (native and programmatically) like I do in Display Fusion?

Do you get Metro Apps in the Ultramon Taskbar like I get in Display Fusion?

I'm curious.

Hi Mike

No I only get the Ultramon taskbars and I do not see any metro apps either but that maybe as I deleted them from the start screen lol
I am not a touch screen user and am also not particularly interested with apps but that may change with time.

Still, it's looking good, Pooch.

I'm glad you got it sorted.

The biggest thing I couldn't live without is the icon on the title bar enabling me to move a window from one monitor to the next with just a click:

I hope it gets updated soon, Pooch. :)

The author of Display Fusion started supporting Win8 8102 as soon as it came out (not oficially, though, but good enough). :D

I use Auto-hide and the Display Fusion Task bar trumps the native secondary task bar, normally.

All I have to do is slide the mouse up a bit and the Display Fusion secondary Taskbar falls down revealing the native secondary Taskbar.
