Hopefully I've posted this to the correct place, if not, Mods please move it.
Major problem with KIS2013 and Speccy. This has happened to me twice. Not a pleasant outcome.
After installing Speccy, then running it...... made my system slow to a crawl. Didn't see excessive CPU/Memory usage in task manager. Configuring Speccy to show the CPU temp in the tray was a total disaster.
Temp displayed for a few seconds. Then a BSOD. Upon reboot, Kaspersky wasn't running. Couldn't start, databases corrupt. I tried to download their uninstaller. Couldn't save it. Got a "file/directory corrupted" message. That showed that not only was KIS corrupted, so was Windows.
I'd made a restore point before installing Speccy. Tried to restore, couldn't. Corrupted. Tried to repair the drive, that failed. Tried to "refresh" Windows, couldn't. Only option was a full "reset" of Windows.
Kaspersky removed the "safe run" aka "sandbox" in Internet Security 2013.
Don't know what the issue is between the programs. Doing a Google search for "Speccy Kaspersky bsod" returns nothing (just posts I've made in a couple other forums). So, if nobody's posting about it, I guess I'm the only one having such a problem.
I installed HWiNFO64 (64bit) and it runs just fine. Scanned the drive with HDTune, and it shows no errors. Also scanned the drive with the tools menu (right click drive/properties) and it shows no errors.

All I know is that I will not install Speccy until I can find a cure. Don't want to go through the mess of having to reinstall numerous programs again.
