Metro apps black boxes

Hello

I recently came across a problem with some of the metro apps, black boxes would start appearing whenever an animation was needed in the app, or the areas would be blank.

I looked this up, and some have suggested that it was a problem with AA settings on nvidia cards. However, I have an AMD radeon dedicated graphics card.

I have tried reinstalling the apps, rebooting my laptop, updating windows, and updating AMD control centre to no avail. How do I fix this?

Thanks in advance

A refresh would be the easiest fix.

Is there an alternative to refresh, as I would lose over 500GB worth of programs.

@JustATest
I have "Adjust for best appearance" checked. So all checkboxes are checked.

In Advanced Startup there are a few options.

Trouble shooting.
Automatic Repair & some others.

Those screen shots looked pretty messed up.

I just did a startup repair/automatic repair, but nothing changed. :(
