ok, i'm looking for spell check software that is not a freebie, freeware has to much trash with it (toolbars ect)and I want nothing to do with any of that. it must be something I have to pay or. and it must not work like the spell check in windows 8. I don't want something that is an auto spell check, I want something that works like the spell check in windows XP outlook express. where it was manual, giving me several options to choose from. if I can control it I can correct the spelling on everything, not just email, but if I want to post a message on a website like a yahoo group.

I already had to find a calendar that is much better than this on and allows for setting reminders every 2 days, 3 days, 12 days, and so on. but it cost me $50.00.

Spell check works fine when I post in this forum, it's not auto correcting and gives me the option to choose the word(see attachment) I don't understand why you want to pay for something when it's offered free for you.

pretty photo, but you did not tell me how to get to that point. and does it only work for this forum? and as for iespell I was told it was told it was another auto spell check software and it also had junk software with it like extra tool bars. if that is true then I don't want it. that's why I said right from the start i'm looking software that is not auto spell chek, that I can control, as in windows XP. and i'm looking to pay for it so I don't have to worry about all that trash software that one always gets with free soft ware.

You have to right click at the words underlined red to get the options, it works like this in most of the forums and e-mails but it auto corrects in some forums.

Not so when I installed it. And anyhow - even if you get an extra toolbar with a program, just uninstall it with the Revo Uninstaller.

Hi there
If you have Ms office why not use the spell checker in WORD -- you can add as many dictionaries as you like.

Then Cut and paste the text into your target document or process.

(Ms Student and Teacher edition of office is cheap and if you have a college or Use at Home type of program you could probably get an ENTERPRISE version of office too -- with Outlook etc included as well).

Cheers
jimbo
