Any software to hide taskbar permanently?

    Hi,

I recently switched to windows 8, and I had a program that would permanently hide the taskbar on the desktop screen from windows 7. However, it doesn't work with windows 8 permanently. By that, I mean that it will disable the taskbar, but it'll re-enable itself soon after. Does anyone know of any solution to disable it?

Just edit your wallpaper with Photoshop (or any other image editing software). Take a screenshot of your full desktop, add it to Photoshop, measure the height of your task bar in pixels (width will be equal to your screen resolution, obviously: 720, 768, 1080 etc...) for example, 1366x33 pixels....
